Drop the proof file (.json) delivered with the report. Your browser recomputes the fingerprint from the text it contains; riftveil.ai then checks the seal. The text is not sent: only the ID, the fingerprint and the seal are.

The proof file follows the open Assay Record format. Specification, schema and implementer guide: assayrecord.ai. A valid seal proves who assigned the ID, when, and that the text shown below has not changed by a single character since. Compare the text shown with the PDF or the document you were given. If they differ, the document was altered, whatever it says. Two origins, never confused: generated on riftveil.ai, or produced elsewhere and registered with Riftveil. In both cases, Riftveil attests nothing about the content: the decision stays with the person who signs.

Without the proof file

Checks only that the ID, the fingerprint and the seal belong together. It does not prove that the text in front of you is the report: anyone can copy these three values onto an altered document. Ask for the proof file.
